Marist College Ashgrove was founded by the Marist Brothers as a day and boarding College in 1940. The College comprises 1600 students from Years 5 to 12, 220 of whom are boarders.
The brief on this workspace was to provide a capable workshop in close proximity to an electronic design lab. These rooms provide for the delivery of Technology Studies, which aims to educate for technological literacy from product development onwards. The students are taken through a product design sequence from research and development through to making, testing and reworking.
